“Yes. The market needs to dictate prices for rent. The city offers rent control through the Housing Choice Voucher program. Neighborhood and Community Services annually seeks to increase the number of vouchers. It is projected the city will have an 18% increase in the vouchers for FY2023.”

Do you believe businesses or organizations that violate the city’s Obscenity Ordinance should be fined?
“Yes. The city should review the code of ordinances to determine where fines need to be added. If fines are added, we must ensure the fines are enforceable and punitive.”
